These roles are unique and important to Cara.

Our Home Community Support is a service making it possible for people with disabilities and their families to have the opportunity to have much needed short breaks in their family homes.

We are looking for keen, passionate, experienced Community Support Workers who are willing to work alone in a one on one environment helping our customers with daily needs and activities in their own homes.

We have a variety of shifts available every day of the week including mornings, evenings and weekends.

We have multiple roles available in all areas of Adelaide metropolitan areas as well as the Adelaide hills including Mt Barker and Murray Bridge.

Flexibility is key as the shifts vary in length, and are geared to meet the specific needs of our customers. We provide full training and support for our staff.

About you:

• Experience in working with people with disabilities is essential

• Current DCSI Child Related Employment Clearance or willing to obtain one

• Current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003)

• Current South Australian Driver's Licence

• Knowledge of person centred thinking practice

• Capability to provide high health support, positive behavioural support, active support, non-violent crisis intervention, and medication administration.
